GGFA Advanced Education Series
For Company Executives and General Managers
The GGFA is proud to announce the second offering of this series. Part of the GGFA Educational Series, this four-session program will cover every aspect of club management. This series is targeted to upper level managers, COO's, and General Managers; however, interested owners are welcome to participate.
Designed specifically for Gold's Gym and based on feedback from our recent survey, this series is facilitated by Scott Corless, COO of Ponzio Fitness Holdings and Gold's Gym Georgia.
A unique opportunity to increase education and knowledge within the brand, attendees should make the commitment to all four sessions. Participants who complete the series will receive a certificate from the GGFA Institute and will have an opportunity to serve on the GGFA Higher Education Panel for future programs.
About Scott J. Corless....
Scott began his career in 1981, working for Ron Littlebrant in California. He put 14 years in with the Bally Corporation, moving up the ranks to District Manager in Central Florida, specializing in company turnarounds - revamping of sales & management systems to promote fiscal performance and growth.
Scott has managed Gold's Gyms in the Bahamas, Florida, Utah, Nebraska, St. Louis, and now Atlanta as COO of Ponzio Fitness Holdings and Gold's Gym Georgia.
Scott took a struggling St. Louis market from the worst market in GGI to the best market in less than 6 months, all while doubling the size of the market with respect to locations. He instituted management and sales systems that brought immediate results, while also eliminating fraud, theft, and consumer issues. His ability to find, train, and motivate gym managers and his focus on results is exceptional. Scott left in place a motivated, professional management crew that continues to succeed to this day.
