in all decisions that affect our brand and the franchisees. It is our goal to secure Gold s
Gym as the most profitable franchising opportunity in the fitness industry and the
number one fitness brand in the world.

We serve as advocates for all franchisees to help them maximize the profitability and
stability of their businesses.

Beliefs
We believe our first responsibility is to the Gold s Gym franchisee. We will constantly
strive to communicate effectively with the franchisor, the needs, wants, and concerns of
the franchisee, and to support the franchisee in achieving the profit and security they
seek in their businesses. We will take the lead on issues and opportunities on behalf of
all franchisees when necessary and appropriate. We believe that the franchisee is our
primary customer and therefore they are the party to whom we
must return maximum value.

We have a responsibility to the fitness industry. We will help set standards of ethics and
quality in programming and processes that bring value to our franchisees and, in turn
bring value to their customers and communities. We will work to be the architects of
the fitness industry.

We are responsible to our vendors. We will work to create opportunities for Gold s Gym
vendors that bring maximum value to the franchisee and fair profit for our vendors.
We believe that the franchisee is also the primary customer of the franchisor.
Accordingly, the GGFA must work collaboratively with GGI to foster innovation in
business practices, advance research and development projects, address governmental
affairs, and assist in the profitability and security of all franchisees.

We believe that a balance of opportunities and an open format for discussion between
the franchisees and the franchisor is essential for the achievement of our goals. We
believe that the franchisee and the franchisor can create the greatest opportunity for all,
when the parties are working together with a shared purpose.
